Brett Farve Bio Essay -- essays research papers

Brett Favre   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  I have chosen Brett Favre for my biography paper. The name of the biography was Brett Favre and it was written by Martin Mooney. If you love football you should read this book. I chose Brett Favre because he is a great quarterback and role model to children everywhere. I also chose him because he is a football legend   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Brett was born in a small town called Kiln, Mississippi, on October 10, 1969. He was given the name Brett Lorenzo Favre. He also grew up in this small town where he was as the second oldest of his family. His parents were Irvin and Bonita Favre. Both his parents worked at Hancock North Central High school. Irvin, being a teacher, baseball coach and football coach, and Bonita was a special education teacher. Brett loved to play football all his life. In fifth grade he decided which position he wanted to play when he went out for wide receiver and landed on the football after a catch and lost his breath. He told his father, the coach for his team, â€Å"I don’t want to play wide receiver no more.† Ever since that day he has been a quarterback after his dad put him as one, and scored 4 touchdowns.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  As a teenager Brett grew up about the same as anyone else. Internal information Essay

Accounting records are a prime source of internal information. They detail the transactions of the business in the past – which may be used as the basis for planning for the future (e. g. preparing a financial budget or forecast). The accounting records are primarily used to record what happens to the financial resources of a business. For example, how cash is obtained and spent; what assets are acquired; what profits or losses are made on the activities of the business. However, accounting records can provide much more than financial information. For example, details of the products manufactured and delivered from a factory can provide useful information about whether quality standards are being met. Data analyzed from customer sales invoices provides a profile of what and to whom products are being sold. A lot of internal information is connected to accounting systems – but is not directly part of them. For example: – Records of the people employed by the business (personal details; what they get paid; skills and experience; training records) – Data on the costs associated with business processes (e. g. costings for contracts entered into by the business) – Data from the production department (e. g. number of machines; capacity; repair record) – Data from activities in direct contact with the customer (e. g. analysis of calls received and missed in a call centre) A lot of internal information is also provided informally. For example, regular meetings of staff and management will result in the communication of relevant information. Personal Philosophy, Mission and Organizational Ethics

Personal, cultural, and professional values and ethics drive the decision making processes for most individuals and businesses in our society. Ethics reflect our morals and how we apply concepts in deciding right from wrong behaviors. Ethical awareness is critical for how we conduct our lives and make choices in the workplace and by defining personal and ethical values, individual and business alike can become more productive members of society. Whether consciously considered or not, every human being has a personal philosophy by which they live by and use to interpret the world around them. Their â€Å"beliefs, concepts and attitudes† (Philosophy) are a derivative of their upbringing and personal circumstances experienced throughout the course of their lives. I was raised on the beliefs, concepts, and moral values of the Christian faith. An emphasis was placed on the Ten Commandments and provided a moral compass to live by; perhaps the most overlooked values in today’s society. The commandments provide a balanced approach to life, similar to Steven Covey’s â€Å"True North† principles, which also provide a â€Å"theory and tools that will empower us to use our endowments to fulfill our basic needs and capacities in a balanced, principle centered way† (Covey 73). Even more importantly, I was raised by caring, loving parents that supported my dreams and taught me to have the courage to go after them.
